Pierre, originally from South Africa, began his photo career in the Navy. Studied Film at Cal Arts and worked at Panavision.  He has photographed many features, shorts. and art films. Some of his most well known films are, A Viking Saga, House Arrest, Truth Hall, Bobby Fischer Live, After Dark and Polanski Unauthorized.
